Religious Education

St Augustine's school is a living, celebrating Catholic community which is Christ centred.
Our catholic life is characterised by our mission statement 'Following Christ, our school family shows love and respect for one another and the world around us'.
 which radiates throughout our school.

Our parish priest Cannon Paul visits our school and encourages the children through prayer,
class and whole school mass, worship, liturgy and reconciliation to develop a greater understanding
of their role in the world. For further information about St Augustine's Parish church you can visit the
website at: www.staugustinescatholicchurch.co.uk/

Prayer Focus

In school, every month, each Key Stage: Early years, KS1 and KS2 will focus on a prayer.  Together the children will learn the prayer and hopefully by the end of the month, know the correct words, understand its meaning and purpose.  We ask for your support in saying these prayers with your children.  If you would like to help your child/children remember these prayers, please click on the links below.

Come and See

In line with recommendations from the Diocese of Brentwood we follow the Come and See scheme of work.  Please click the link below to see a topic overview for each year group.
