Governors

Dear Parents/Carers,

On behalf of the Board of Governors I would like to welcome you to St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School.

We are very proud of our school and work closely with the Head teacher and staff to ensure that the learning environment of the school is suitable, appropriate and supportive for all of the children attending.

The children of St Augustine’s are noted for their good behaviour and of adhering to the philosophy of our mission statement which is imbedded in the life of the school. This is enhanced by the close partnership between home and school.

The Governing Body, in a working partnership with the Head teacher, decide how the school should be run. This involves deciding on how the budget should be spent. As a Catholic school the Governing Body bear the financial responsibility for all improvements to the school premises and site, which includes funding 10% of the cost of any expenditure.

We therefore need your help and subscriptions to the Governors’ Fund to work with us to provide the best possible learning facilities we can.
