Charitable Work

Catholic Social Teaching is our moral compass, guiding us on how to live out our faith in the world. Our faith calls us to love God and to love our neighbours in every situation, especially our sisters and brothers living in poverty. Following in the footsteps of Christ, we hope to make present in our unjust and broken world, the justice, love and peace of God.

We support charities such as CAFOD, Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society, Redbridge Night Shelter and others focusing on the need to help God’s family in other places.

During the Harvest Season, our families very generously sent in food, which was donated, to the Redbridge Night Shelter in November.

During the infant Christmas productions, in December, parents who came to watch their children, donated money for Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society.

Many families contributed to the Christmas Shoebox appeal with wonderful gifts for underprivileged children. The gift boxes were taken to a local collection centre in December.

Last year, during Lent, the children took part in a sponsored walking event raising over £300 for CAFOD
