In St Augustine's Catholic Primary School, we always strive to provide opportunities for children to consolidate their learning with out-of-school experiences. Two of our most successful opportunities are our international visit programme. To enhance the school's Religious Education provision; especially in the area of Catholic School Life & Mission, children in Years 5 and 6 attend an annual residential 5-day visit to Rome, where they visit different Basilicas and the highlight being the weekly Wednesday Papal Audience.
The school's Modern Foreign Language is French; taught in Year 2 to 6. An to further enhance the 'Learning and Teaching' of French, a group of Years 4 and 5 children embark on the day trip to Lille in France. This year (2025) is our visit and aim to make it an annual event.
